Disciplinary Steps
Level 1 Offense
To be handled by teacher
- Student off task
- Student disruptive (talking to neighbor)
- Student on cell phone
Level 2 Offense
Teacher documents incident in ATLAS and parent contact is made
- Repeated level 1 offense
- Minor defiance (student refuses to participate but is not necessarily disruptive)
- Minor verbal altercation with another student in class (did not escalate to physical altercation but was not necessarily resolved)
Level 3 Offense
Immediate removal of student call x72656 for CA assistance (Do not allow student to walk to admin office on their own). Teacher must immediately document in ATLAS.
- Fighting
- Possession of weapon or illegal substance (possession or suspected use), safety concerns
