Disciplinary Steps

Level 1 Offense

To be handled by teacher

• Student off task
• Student disruptive (talking to neighbor)
• Student on cell phone

Level 2 Offense

Teacher documents incident in ATLAS and parent contact is made

• Repeated level 1 offense
• Minor defiance (student refuses to participate but is not necessarily disruptive)
• Minor verbal altercation with another student in class (did not escalate to physical altercation but was not necessarily resolved)

Level 3 Offense

Immediate removal of student call x72656 for CA assistance (Do not allow student to walk to admin office on their own).  Teacher must immediately document in ATLAS.

• Fighting
• Possession of weapon or illegal substance (possession or suspected use), safety concerns
